Duties:

- Create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities for children in accordance with the center's curriculum
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
- Observe and assess each child's development and progress, and communicate with parents/guardians as needed
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive learning environment
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom
- Follow all licensing regulations and center policies

Qualifications:

- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field preferred
- Experience working with young children in a child care or preschool setting
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans and activities that promote learning and development
- Experience working with diverse student populations
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

key Responsibilities

• Participate in program evaluation, including curriculum and strategy, and be willing to restructure teaching methods based on findings to strengthen program quality or support children and families.
• Maintain accurate records, forms and files.
• Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.
• Daily Cleaning of classroom and entire building
